West Star Aviation is hiring an Aircraft Maintenance Technician in East Alton, IL. You will perform mechanical tasks and component removals, troubleshoot systems, and support engine work in a dynamic hangar setting.

AMT I–IV progressions apply; candidates may have airframe/powerplant licenses and 0–6+ years of aviation maintenance experience. Benefits start on day one with schedule options and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; valid driver’s license is ideal.
• Airframe and/or Powerplant license required; Airframe preferred (I–IV).
• 0–6+ years aviation maintenance experience, depending on level.

Responsibilities

• Perform general mechanical tasks on aircraft and related systems.
• Remove and install panels and components.
• Troubleshoot and resolve aircraft system issues.
• De-fuel aircraft and perform engine removals/installs.
• Operate ground support equipment and assist testing.
• Inspect aircraft and components; document findings.
• Communicate clearly in English; follow safety rules.
