Ontic is expanding its Miramar, FL site and seeks an Aviation Maintenance Technician (AMT/Electromechanical) Level III to join the team. You will report to the Operations Manager and work on-site in Miramar, performing maintenance and overhaul of mechanical and electromechanical aircraft components in a shop environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, FAA repairman certification, and experience as an electromechanical technician.

Formación

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain a FAA repairman certification.
• Previous experience as an electromechanical technician, performing testing, maintenance, repair and overhaul of mechanical and electromechanical components and accessories in an industrial environment.
• Proficient in the use of mechanical and electronic precision measuring equipment such as calipers, height gages, depth indicators, micrometers, power supplies, multimeters, pressure gages, flow meters, etc.
• Previous experience as an electromechanical technician in a FAA part 145 repair station is preferred.
• FAA A&P License is preferred.

• Maintain, repair and overhaul of mechanical and electromechanical aircraft accessories, appliances and LRU equipment in a shop environment.
• Perform and complete assignments as required.
• Perform all work in accordance with approved technical data, work instructions, internal and external requirements.
• Meet or exceed performance metrics & KPIs.
• Train, coach and mentor peers.
• Promote continuous improvement.
• Comply with RSQM/QMS and AS9110 requirements.
• Maintain open communication.

To be considered for the Aviation Maintenance Technician (AMT/Electromechanical), here’s what you’ll need to bring with you:

• Train, coach and mentor peers.

This is a safety sensitive position subject to DOT pre-employment and random drug and alcohol testing.
