A leading company in aviation services is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Technician to perform maintenance, repairs, and inspections on EC135 helicopters. The ideal candidate will have an FAA A&P license and experience in aircraft maintenance, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies. This role requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a team environment, with on-call availability and travel as needed.
Job Summary: Responsible for performing maintenance, repairs, inspections, and alterations of Company-operated aircraft and articles as assigned in accordance with Air Methods’ policies and procedures. Ensures company operational goals and objectives are met, while guaranteeing all aircraft maintenance documentation complies with applicable Federal Aviation Regulations, company policies, procedures, and maintenance manuals. This position involves working on EC135 helicopters.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities include the following:
Regular attendance is essential, subject to applicable laws and company policies.
Education & Experience: High school diploma or GED, with 2-5 years of related experience or training; factory airframe/power plant schooling preferred; active FAA A&P license required; FAR 135 experience preferred.
Skills: Electrical troubleshooting, vibration balancing, sheet metal and composite repair, document comprehension (e.g., 337s, ADs), multi-tasking, teamwork, flexible scheduling, proficiency with manuals and ERP systems (Ramco), strong communication, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; RAMCO experience preferred.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: FAA A&P License in good standing. Must pass drug and alcohol testing as per DOT/FAA regulations.
