A leading aviation company is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Technician responsible for maintaining and repairing company-operated aircraft. The position requires an active FAA A&P license and involves working on EC135 helicopters, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and operational goals. Candidates should have 2-5 years of experience in aircraft maintenance and be proficient in electrical troubleshooting and repairs.
Job Summary: Responsible for performing maintenance, repairs, inspections, and alterations of company-operated aircraft and articles as assigned in accordance with Air Methods’ policies and procedures. Ensures company operational goals and objectives are met, while guaranteeing all aircraft maintenance documentation is executed in compliance with applicable Federal Aviation Regulations, company policies and procedures, and applicable maintenance manuals. At this base, you will be working on EC135 helicopters.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities include the following:
Education & Experience: High school diploma or GED, with 2-5 years’ related experience and/or training; factory airframe/power plant school preferred; active FAA A&P license required; FAR 135 operations experience preferred.
Skills: Electrical troubleshooting, vibration balancing, sheet metal and composite repair, reading technical documents, multitasking, teamwork, flexible schedule, proficiency with manuals and ERP system (Ramco), strong communication, problem-solving.
Computer Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; Ramco experience preferred.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: FAA A&P License in good standing. Position subject to drug/alcohol testing per DOT/FAA.
