Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced aircraft maintenance technician to inspect and repair aircraft and components in accordance with established procedures. You will ensure all maintenance records meet Federal Aviation Regulations and maintain a safe, organized work area.

You will also advise the Pilot in Command of any issues that could ground an aircraft and coordinate parts for inventory, with flexibility for overtime and 24/7 on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 2–5 years of related experience or training.
• A&P certification is required or active.
• Ability to read 337s, Service Bulletins and ADs.
• Willing to work flexible hours including overtime and on-call.
• Efficient with manuals (electronic or paper).

Responsibilities

• Performs inspections and repairs of aircraft and components per maintenance procedures.
• Ensures all maintenance documentation complies with FARs.
• Maintains a clean, organized work area.
• Corrects compliance or safety issues as directed by supervision.
• Advises Pilot in Command of any maintenance issues that could ground an aircraft.
• Requests aviation parts to maintain inventory.

• Performs inspections and repairs of aircraft and components in accordance with maintenance procedures.
• Ensures all aircraft maintenance documentation is executed in compliance with applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
• Maintains work area in a clean and professional manner.
• Responsible for correcting compliance or safety issues when directed by superiors.
• Advises the Pilot in Command of any maintenance issues that would take an aircraft out of service.
• Requests aviation parts and supplies to maintain an adequate inventory.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2 to 5 years’ related experience and/or training.
• Factory airframe/power plant schools preferred.
• Active/current A&P required.
• Electrical troubleshooting and refined vibration‑balancing skills.
• Ability to read and understand documents such as 337’s, Service Bulletins, AD’s, etc.
• Ability to multi‑task in a fast paced, constantly changing environment.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including overtime and 24/7 on‑call rotation.
• Efficient in the use of electronic or paper based manuals.
