Job description

Position Title: Electromechanical Technician

Role Overview:

As an Electromechanical Technician (Levels I, II, III), you will:

  1. Handle the manufacturing, testing, and troubleshooting of high-precision electronic products for aerospace and defense applications.
  2. Execute tasks in accordance with approved technical data, work instructions, and compliance with both internal and external standards.
  3. Achieve or surpass performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  4. Provide training, coaching, and mentorship to team members.
  5. Foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  6. Adhere to quality management system requirements and relevant aerospace industry standards.
  7. Ensure effective communication with team members and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  1. High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  2. FAA A&P License, FAA repairman certificate, or the ability to obtain an FAA repairman certification.
  3. Prior experience as an electromechanical technician, including testing, maintenance, repair, and overhaul of mechanical and electromechanical components in an industrial or aerospace environment.
  4. Skilled in using precision measuring tools such as calipers, height gauges, depth indicators, micrometers, power supplies, multimeters, pressure gauges, and flow meters.
  5. Experience working in an FAA Part 145 repair station is preferred.
