Job summary

Air Methods is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic to maintain rotorcraft, specifically EC145, ensuring all maintenance and documentation comply with FAA regulations and internal procedures. You will perform inspections, repairs, alterations, and coordinate parts while supporting operational readiness.

The role requires attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and willingness for on-call nights, weekends, and travel up to 50% as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 2–5 years’ related experience or equivalent
• Factory airframe/power plant schools preferred
• FAR 135 operations preferred

Responsibilities

• Inspects and repairs aircraft per procedures, ADs, SBs and FARs
• Verifies part numbers/serials against documentation
• Ensures maintenance records meet regs and manuals
• Participates in SMS process improvements
• Maintains a clean, professional work area
• Advises PIC of issues that would remove aircraft from service
• Requests parts to keep inventory ready for repairs
