Job summary

Worldwide Flight Services (WFS) is hiring Maintenance Technicians/Electrical Mechanics to respond to emergencies and perform preventive and corrective maintenance on baggage handling systems at 24/7 operations. Hourly rate ranges from $24.00 to $42.00, with duties spanning motors, circuits, SICK ATR systems, and conveyors.

The role requires strong electrical/mechanical skills, the ability to read diagrams and schematics, and the flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Flexible schedule for 24/7 operation including nights, weekends, or holidays.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Airport I.D. badge eligibility.
• Electrical/Mechanical training or 3+ years’ maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain superior customer service and safe working practices at all times.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain machinery and electrical equipment per diagrams and manuals.
• Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical systems.
• Communicate work progress and status of specialty systems to stakeholders.
• Analyze root-causes of electrical failures and implement remedies.
• Interpret schematics and engineering drawings for system layout and operation.
• Respond to calls from Control Room/manager for service calls (CM, PM, EM).
• Perform preventive maintenance including inspection, adjustment, cleaning, and follow-up work orders.
