Pay Range
$23.00/hr - $25.00/hr (base). Pay will be based on skills and experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and testing of Baggage Handling Systems and associated components, providing accurate and timely written reports of safety, operational, and maintenance activities.
- Interpret data and suggest maintenance schedule/activity adjustments to the Manager.
- Update daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance activity schedules.
Physical Requirements
Lifting 50–100 lbs, bending, reaching, climbing, walking, crawling, standing, sitting, climbing stairs, speaking, sight, and/or hearing.
Required Skills & Education
- HS Diploma or GED required.
- Electro‑electronics/mechanical skills required.
- Excellent customer‑relations skills.
- Adherence to all safety regulations and safe work practices.
- Mechanical troubleshooting (belts, bearings, pulleys, drives, gearmotors).
- Electrical troubleshooting (480 V 3‑phase motors, control circuits, schematic reading, VFDs, motor starters, I/O systems).
- Working knowledge of PLC systems and operations.
- Familiarity with high‑level control systems, SCADA, and network architecture (servers, Ethernet, fiber, switches, workstations, barcode scanning).
- Maintenance management software skills (preventive/corrective maintenance, scheduling, inventory tracking).
- Valid driver license with clean MVR desirable.
- Pass all background checks and security screenings per airport requirements.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
