Job summary

Vantage Aviation seeks a Maintenance Operations Manager to lead scheduling, profitability, and SOP implementation across maintenance projects. You will ensure FAA compliance, safety, and productive workflows while guiding a skilled team in a fast-paced aviation environment.

You will oversee work orders, parts procurement, and vendor coordination, maintaining rigorous documentation and reporting to optimize reliability and profitability.

Qualifications

• FAA A&P certificate required.
• Minimum 5 years of aviation experience maintaining corporate/commercial aircraft under Part 135 or Part 145.
• Minimum 2 years' experience as a Lead Mechanic or Inspector.
• Experience supervising technicians and coordinating repairs.
• Ability to interpret airworthiness directives and FAA regulations.
• Fluent in English; basic computer skills and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate strategic maintenance initiatives to boost efficiency and growth.
• Evaluate shop and customer needs for staffing, equipment and training.
• Lead and mentor maintenance personnel while fostering teamwork.
• Oversee compliance with FAA rules, TDs, and company procedures.
• Open and manage work orders, procure parts, and coordinate vendors.
• Track labor hours and ensure timely, on-budget maintenance.
• Maintain documentation on work cards and maintenance records.
• Ensure safety programs are implemented and followed across operations.
