Job summary

PrimeFlightAviation Services, Inc. seeks a Director of Maintenance to oversee all airport equipment maintenance activities. The role includes planning, scheduling, and supervising work, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance across departments, and coordinating to minimize disruptions during maintenance.

You will lead the maintenance team, develop budgets, and implement programs to extend asset life and optimize performance for safe and efficient airport operations.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years aviation maintenance experience preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Able to read and write in English; bilingual in English/Spanish a plus.
• Familiar with safety, regulatory standards, and audits.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and oversight for the Maintenance department.
• Manage a team of maintenance professionals including mechanics and technicians.
• Develop and implement maintenance strategies for reliability and safety of equipment.
• Collaborate with Operations to plan maintenance without disrupting airport operations.
• Establish preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and costs.
• Monitor equipment performance data to identify trends and improvements.
• Manage budgets and allocate resources to meet goals.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
