Premier Jet Center in Eden Prairie, MN is seeking an Aviation Maintenance Technician Lead to perform high‑level aircraft maintenance and lead a team of technicians at Flying Cloud Airport. This safety‑sensitive role requires FAA compliance, strong troubleshooting ability, and mentoring of junior staff.

Responsibilities include inspecting airframe systems, coordinating parts, ensuring accurate records, and adhering to work orders and directives. On‑call duty and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Current A&P license is required.
• Minimum three years of experience.
• Strong communication with customers and co-workers.
• Ability to work independently and as a team member.
• Lead project experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of FARs 43, 91, 135 and 145.

Responsibilities

• Performs high quality inspections, servicing and maintenance on airframe systems and components including but not limited to 100 hour/annual/phase type inspections.
• Completes testing, adjusting, repairing and other general tasks related to maintenance of airframe systems.
• Performs troubleshooting, fitting and installation on complex structural assemblies.
• Researches and uses technical data and follows instructions for assigned tasks.
• Orders parts as needed and documents work orders per FAA and company policy.
• Supervises and reviews work; mentors less experienced technicians.
• Estimates hours and materials for scheduled jobs; ensures safety compliance.
