Job summary

StandardAero in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Machinist to perform end-to-end machining tasks. You will load fixtures, indicate parts, set tools, and generate offsets, while maintaining tight tolerances and quality throughout the process.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Machinist with lathes or mills.
• Experience reading manuals and technical drawings and using measuring tools.
• Experience with manual machine tools operations.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand 5+ hours.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Machine products to tight tolerances.
• Read specifications, blueprints, and layouts to determine operation.
• Verify dimensions with calipers, gauges and micrometers.
• Set up machine tools for operators.
• Support production through cross-training.
• Work independently and as part of a team to ensure quality.
• Observe safety practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
