Job summary

Sawdey Solution Services is seeking a logistics professional in Elizabeth City, NC (on-site) to provide supply and logistical support for USCG aircraft parts and equipment. The role requires in-depth knowledge of maintenance planning, inventory management, and data analysis to improve interchangeability and procurement outcomes.

The candidate will work with Engineering and Procurement to optimize stock levels, lead times, and cost-effectiveness while ensuring compliance with government

Qualifications

• Minimum five years in supply/logistics.
• Five years aviation inventory management experience beyond Supply Technician.
• Experience with AMMIS and ALMIS systems.
• Knowledge of USCG/DoW aircraft logistics practices.

Responsibilities

• Assess equipment maintenance and logistics support requirements for USCG aircraft.
• Submit SICR and coordinate with engineering and procurement teams.
• Prepare documentation to support procurement actions.
• Review data to determine item interchangeability or substitution options.
• Evaluate logistics plans for feasibility, efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Analyze forecasting model outputs.
• Collaborate with engineering and procurement on supply-related issues and pricing.
• Use inventory systems to generate requirements documents and monitor aviation stock.
