Responsibilities

Schedule: Saturday-Wednesday 5:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Position Summary

The Line Service Lead, under the direction of the Customer Service Manager, provides day-to-day leadership and direction to Line Service Technicians while performing all standard Line Service duties. This position helps ensure safe, efficient, and timely operations while supporting employees, customers, and aircraft.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily activities of Line Service Technicians during assigned shifts.
• Direct and prioritize work assignments to ensure tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and on time.
• Coordinate aircraft arrivals and departures, including ramping, marshalling, towing, and hangar movements.
• Perform aircraft fueling, oil servicing, and self-service fuel close-outs.
• Assist passengers and provide customer service as needed.
• Perform aircraft cleaning and servicing, including washing, windshield cleaning, interior vacuuming, lavatory service, and tire inflation.
• Provide auxiliary power unit (APU) starts and other ground support services.
• Monitor and track fuel inventory and conduct regular inventories of parts and supplies.
• Ensure employees follow company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Coach employees, provide feedback, and assist with training and development.
• Promote teamwork, communication, professionalism, and a positive work environment.
• Address employee and operational concerns and communicate significant issues to the Customer Service Manager.
• Lead by example through dependable attendance, punctuality, professionalism, and a strong work ethic.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Customer Service Manager.

Requirements

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of Line Service experience.
• 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead, coach, and work effectively with a team.
• Ability to make sound decisions, prioritize tasks, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to follow and enforce company policies, procedures, and safety requirements.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Previous experience with fuel quality control procedures preferred.
• Must be willing to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime as operational needs require.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to safely operate company vehicles and ground support equipment after required training.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. and safely push, pull, carry, and handle equipment and materials.
