Job summary

Atlantic Aviation is seeking a Line Service Technician at FAI in Fairbanks, AK. The role involves aviation ground support services, including fueling, baggage handling, towing, marshalling and lavatory/water service. You will work outdoors in a fast-paced environment and join a team of aviation professionals.

Pay is $20.25 per hour with shifts including overtime, weekends, holidays, and on-call duty. Travel to other Atlantic locations may be required based on business needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Valid state driver’s license is required.
• Must be physically capable of walking, bending, stooping, and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and receive fuel to and from company tanks, vendor trucks, and aircraft.
• Operate ground support equipment including lavatory and water service carts, GPU, deice truck, etc.
• Perform ground marshalling using standard aviation signals.
• Assist customers with scheduling and fueling.
• Assist with aircraft turning, loading, and unloading.
• Keep buildings and grounds safe, clean and organized.
• Conduct daily/weekly onsite safety inspections and audits of equipment and facilities.
