Job summary

Atlantic Aviation in Juneau, AK is seeking a Line Service Technician to provide aviation ground support, including fueling/defueling, baggage handling, aircraft towing, marshalling signals, and lavatory/potable water service. The role is outdoors, fast-paced, with overtime, weekend, and on-call shifts.

You will work with customers and crews to support scheduling and fueling, ensure ramp safety and cleanliness, and may travel to other Atlantic locations as business needs require.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED certificate
• 18 years of age
• A valid state driver’s license
• Be physically able to perform heavy lifting up to 50 lbs and work in outdoor conditions

Responsibilities

• Deliver and receive fuel to and from company tanks, vendor trucks, and aircraft.
• Operate all company ground support equipment including lavatory and water service carts, ground power unit, deice truck, etc.
• Perform ground marshalling using standard aviation signals.
• Provide customer service by assisting with aircraft scheduling and fueling.
• Assist with aircraft turning, loading, and unloading.
• Ensure all buildings and grounds are safe, clean, and organized.
• Conduct or assist with daily/weekly onsite safety inspections and audits of equipment and facility operations.
• Occasional travel may be required to support another Atlantic location.
• You may be assigned to another Atlantic location based on proximity as business needs require.
