Job summary

Yulista Solutions LLC is seeking a Personal Equipment Technician to manage inspections, maintenance and scheduling of aircrew flight equipment (AFE) for NASA-related missions and WB-57 operations. You will inspect, repair and verify life support gear, including pressure suits, oxygen systems and related equipment, ensuring pilot safety and mission readiness.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years of aircraft maintenance life support experience with fixed wing commercial, Government or DOD aircraft required.
• Experience supporting a NASA/DoD contract.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Government Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, pack and adjust aircrew flight equipment (AFE) such as helmets, oxygen masks, parachutes, and life support gear.
• Support WB-57 high-altitude operations and ensure pressure suit equipment readiness.
• Evaluate repair or replacement options based on inspection results and work orders.
• Install and remove aircraft-installed AFE; perform reliability testing with test equipment.
• Maintain inspection and accountability records in NAMIS.
• Possibly perform Designated System Inspector (DSI) duties.
• Support water survival training courses for aircrew qualifications and NASA Center operations.
