Pellissippi State Community College seeks an Aviation Laboratory Technician (Temporary Part-Time) to support the Aviation Technology department at the Blount Campus. This grant-funded role involves maintaining FAA-aligned lab equipment and assisting faculty and students during labs.

Pay Rate: $21.80 per hour
If you are a PSCC Student and eligible for the Student Employment Program, you will be paid on experience: $14.00 (no experience), $15.00 (6 months experience) and $16.00 (9 months experience).
Work Hours: work up to 30 hours per week
Position Summary: The purpose of this grant funded position is to provide technical support to the Aviation Technology director, AVIT program and courses as well as provide support in the summer for the program.
Required Qualifications: Associate's degree or certificate in Aviation Maintenance Technology, Aerospace Engineering, or a related technical field. A&P Certification, hands‑on experience with aviation tools, equipment, and maintenance procedures, knowledge of FAA regulations, inventory management and equipment calibration. Two years of full‑time employment in a setting related to the position – this could be in education or in business/industry.
