Job summary

Bombardier in Hartford is seeking an experienced Interior Craftsperson, Wood Finisher for Day Shift. You will fabricate, install and refurbish aircraft interior wood components to specification and quality standards.

The role requires 3-5 years of interiors experience on corporate aircraft, and you will work with finishes, veneers and coatings while coordinating with the team to ensure on-time delivery of all tasks.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of interiors experience on corporate aircraft.
• Ability to interpret mechanical engineering drawings.
• Experience with sanding, finishing veneers and wood components.
• Ability to communicate status in writing and verbally.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, install and refurbish aircraft interior wood furnishings per work order or customer request.
• Perform and document all work per manuals and regulations.
• Adhere to Bombardier General Work Requirements (Factory, Shop and / or Hangar).
• Comply with environmental health and safety policies/procedures.
• Participate in 5-S activities.
• Assist with maintenance at off-site locations as needed.
• Travel on international assignments if required.
• Assist with other maintenance disciplines as needed.
• Clean aircraft as required.
