Job summary

Ascent Aviation Services in the United States seeks an Interiors Technician to restore, repair, and install aircraft cabin interiors. The role supports 24/7 operations across shifts, requiring flexibility and adherence to FAA regulations and company procedures.

You will work on Marana, AZ and Tucson, AZ locations, reading blueprints, using hand/power tools, and ensuring precise fittings. Strong attention to detail and team collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of aircraft maintenance experience.
• Repairman’s Certificate for Interiors and Related Structures preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend English.
• Proficient in interpreting and applying technical data.

Responsibilities

• Research technical data and perform disassembly, repair, cleaning, adjustment, and testing of cabin interiors and related equipment.
• Installs aircraft interior furnishings, trim and accessories per specifications.
• Reads blueprints and production procedures to determine measurements and installation procedures.
• Measures and marks installation areas with tools and templates, drills, reams, countersinks, and rivets.
• Trims and files parts and assemblies using hand tools and power tools.
• Fits and installs items in aircraft using hand tools, power tools, and fasteners.
• Performs maintenance work and shop housekeeping.
• Fabricates and installs supporting structural devices.
• Ensures proper documentation on training records and sign-off.
• Tests functional performance of installed items.
• Reworks installations as required.
