Job summary

West Star Aviation Inc. seeks an Interior Cabinet Technician at Grand Junction, CO. Full-time, on-site position responsible for fabricating and refurbishing wood-surfaced subassemblies for world-class aircraft interiors.

Requires strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety and FAA guidelines. The role offers a path from Tech I to Master Tech, with team-based work in a hangar environment and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience in aviation, auto, RV, Marine or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in aviation, auto, RV, Marine or related field.
• 6+ years’ experience in aviation interiors.
• Must follow FAA guidelines and safety rules.
• A High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform general mechanical functions on aircraft cabinets and related systems (removal/installation, modification, lamination, veneering).
• Ability to perform minor modifications.
• Maintain and repair shop facility, equipment and tooling.
• Keep shop clean and organized; work independently when required.
• Communicate effectively in English; follow supervisor directions.
