Job summary

West Star Aviation is seeking an Interior Cabinet Technician to fabricate and assemble high quality furniture and woodwork for business aircraft. The role involves cabinet modification, repair, and fabrication under team leader direction in Perryville, MO.

Responsibilities include installing and removing cabinets, minor modifications, documentation, and maintaining a safe, clean work environment while following FAA guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in aviation, auto, RV, marine or related field preferred.
• Ability to read and follow instructions from manuals and drawings.
• Strong English communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently under supervision as needed.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and assemble interior cabinets and related wood-surface subassemblies.
• Perform cabinet removal, modification, laminating or fabrication.
• Assist in basic electrical and mechanical work as required.
• Maintain shop cleanliness and organize workstation.
• Use basic computer systems to access training materials and maintenance data bases.
• Follow FAA guidelines and company safety rules.
• Support modification, repair and refurbishment tasks as needed.
