Job summary

West Star Aviation Inc. in Statesville, NC, seeks an Aircraft Interior Technician to join our hangar-based team.

You will remove/install carpeting, insulation, soundproofing, and fabric accessories, perform parts replacement and basic electrical work, and assist refurbishments on sophisticated private aircraft interiors under the Interior Team Leader. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience preferred in private aviation interiors.
• Ability to read reports and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Perform general mechanical tasks on aircraft interiors.
• Troubleshoot and repair damaged interior components.
• Modify panels, seats, carpets, cabinetry and upholstery.
• Measure, cut and fit materials for refurbishments.
• Assist in aircraft detailing and cleaning.
• Maintain and repair shop facilities and tooling.
• Use basic computer skills to access manuals and databases.
• Maintain shop cleanliness and safety.
