Angelo State University in San Angelo, Texas is seeking an Instructor of Commercial Aviation / Air Traffic Operations to join the Management & Marketing department. The successful candidate will teach air traffic operations courses starting August 2026, participate in student recruitment, and assist in administrative tasks associated with the CAV program. A Master's degree in aviation, FAA teaching certificates, and strong communication skills are required. Experience in higher education is preferred. The position is on-site without remote work.

Qualifications

• Candidates should have a record of successful teaching.
• Candidates are expected to hold the required FAA certificates to teach air traffic control courses.
• Willingness to support the CAV program through student recruitment and advising and administrative tasks.

Responsabilités

• Participate in activities of the CAV Program including teaching, recruitment, and advising.
• Cover teaching assignments in Air Traffic Operations.
• Assist in setting up the ATO track in the CAV program.
