Job summary

Universal Technical Institute is seeking an Aviation Maintenance Instructor to mentor and train the next generation of technicians in hands-on aircraft maintenance. Your expertise in aircraft systems and components will guide students toward successful careers across multiple industries, with a focus on interactive, practical teaching.

You will inspire students, develop and deliver practical demonstrations, and collaborate with the education team to keep curricula aligned with evolving industry

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • 5 years of practical work experience in aviation maintenance (not including teaching).
  • FAA A&P license is highly valued; employer will pay to obtain if not current.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Patient and empathetic approach to teaching.

Responsibilities

  • Inspire and educate: create an engaging, inclusive learning environment and share expertise in electrical components.
  • Hands-on training: lead by example with practical demonstrations for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing systems.

Quaifications

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or GED
