Job summary

FlightSafety International seeks an experienced Pilot Instructional Designer to lead instructional strategy and template development for Pilot and Maintenance curricula at our Learning Centers. You will shape course content, testing and evaluation, ensuring alignment with regulatory and OEM requirements.

Responsibilities include prototype development with cross-functional teams, usability testing, and adherence to FlightSafety International standards.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or a BA/BS with extensive related experience and a 1–3 year master's program duration.
• Field of study in instructional design or related field required, with three years of demonstrable training design experience.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain enterprise-wide instructional templates and design philosophies for curriculum/learning products.
• Design, develop and apply instructional strategies and templates for Pilot and Mx curricula.
• Perform usability testing and update courseware standards as required.
• Research regulatory OEM and customer requirements to ensure curriculum integrity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prototype instructional features across products.
• Ensure designs meet regulatory standards and company requirements.
