Job summary

The role includes payroll administration, recruitment coordination, benefits administration, training development, performance management, and maintaining personnel records across the company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 3 - 5 years in human resource field.
• HR certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manages Team Member relations to communicate and enforce various Human Resources policies, procedures, laws and government regulations.

• Develops, recommends and maintains Team Member handbook.
• Responsible for biweekly payroll administration.
• Coordinates recruitment effort for all Team Members, interns, and temporary Team Members to include new Team Member orientation.
• Performs benefits administration.
• Establishes and maintains records including personnel files and compliance reports.
• Responsible for professional development and training. This includes creating development plan action items, training opportunities, etc. and coordination with corporate HR Department regarding human resources planning and development.
• Responsible for the administration of the performance management system.
• Maintains job descriptions.
• Administers Worker’s Compensation and safety with Environmental Health and Safety Manager.
• Responsible for leave administration.
• Responsible for planning various company events.
• Responsible for unemployment administration.
• Coordinates and administers terminations, exit interviews and reductions in force.
• Maintains knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation and ensures compliance with Federal and State laws.
