The role focuses on employee relations, performance management, coaching, learning and development, staffing strategies, and regulatory compliance with federal and state laws. Strong communication and data-driven decision making are essential for maintaining a positive work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
• 4–6 years of Human Resources experience preferred.
• PHR/SHRM-CP certification preferred.
• Knowledge of HR laws and regulations (FMLA, ADA, EEO, OFCCP, etc.).
• Excellent computer skills with Excel, Word, and HRIS systems.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to understand business needs and align HR strategies.
• Ability to act as a change agent and supportive of company culture.

Responsibilities

• Provides guidance and counseling to Unifi leadership in employee relations, performance management, and development.
• Builds partnerships between HR and the business to foster a positive work environment.
• Maintains confidentiality and data integrity in all HR activities.
• Recommends practices to improve employee morale and retention.
• Partners with leadership to design staffing, onboarding, and talent development strategies.
• Maintains knowledge of federal and state laws to ensure compliance.
• Conducts investigations, documents findings, and recommends actions.
• Communicates with internal and external customers in a timely, professional manner.
• Uses HR metrics to inform business decisions.
• Coordinates leave requests and administrative HR policies.
• Updates employee information in the HRIS for assigned locations.
• Supports Training Department to develop leadership programs.
• Other duties as assigned.
