Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or closely related field.
• 5+ years HR experience including employee relations, compliance, investigations, policy administration.
• Experience administering DOT/FAA regulated drug and alcohol testing preferred.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws.
• Experience conducting workplace investigations and resolving complex employee relations matters.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, coaching, and analytical skills.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment with confidentiality and professionalism.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses and resolves complex employee issues by identifying problems, analyzing root causes, and implementing effective actions.
• Internal consultant and trusted coach to executives, managers, and employees on policy interpretation, relations, performance, and sensitive matters.
• Designs and deploys HR programs tailored to department needs.
• Conducts workplace investigations involving complaints, policy violations, misconduct, harassment, and discrimination with fair, compliant outcomes.
• Maintains confidentiality across employee records, investigations, and disciplinary actions.
• Leads compliance with applicable employment laws and regulations and advises senior leadership on regulatory updates.
