Job summary

Menzies Aviation at Philadelphia International Airport is seeking a GSE Mechanic to repair and rebuild airport service vehicles, including refueling and support trucks. You will inspect parts, perform engine, hydraulic and electrical repairs, and ensure preventive upkeep to keep aircraft services running smoothly.

The role requires 3–5 years of mechanical experience, high school diploma or GED, and ability to obtain airport badges.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED or equivalent
  • Experience in auto maintenance or forklift maintenance
  • 3 to 5 years of mechanical experience
  • Ability to read, write and speak English
  • Available and flexible to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain Airports/Custom badges/seals

Responsibilities

  • Inspect and identify defective or broken parts on vehicles and make repairs to gas/diesel engines, hydraulic, electrical, fueling and mechanical systems.
  • Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual quality control checks on refueling equipment and maintain related records.
  • Drive and operate refueling equipment vehicles.
  • Ensure the aircraft services team can operate effectively by providing preventative care and timely repairs.
  • Maintain a safe and secure work environment following health, safety and security policies.
