Job summary

PrimeFlight Aviation Services, Inc. is seeking a GSE Mechanic Level II to repair and maintain ground support equipment including tugs, belt loaders, pushbacks, and trucks. You will perform advanced maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems and document work performed.

Qualifications

• 3 years of verified experience required
• Must provide own tools and toolbox
• Must be eligible to work in the United States
• Must have a valid state-issued driver’s license with acceptable driving record
• Communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking)
• Ability to access and interpret information on devices (IPads/Tablets, Computers, Mobile Devices)
• Flexible to work various shifts including nights, weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

• Service equipment with fuel, water, oil, hydraulic fluid and compressed air
• Log equipment numbers to be repaired with description of work
• Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, replace, repair, or modify engines and transmissions
• Inspect electrical systems and braking systems
• Maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems on mobile lift and conveyors
• Inspect bumpers, body work and towing components
• Inspect undercarriages, wheels and tires; glands and wiring
• Diagnose problems using test equipment and manufacturer guides
• Operate and test ground equipment for performance
• Complete paperwork and track parts
• Adhere to safety procedures and PrimeFlight standards
• Perform any additional duties as assigned by management
