Job summary

ADP, Inc. is seeking a Line Service Technician for 2nd shift in Wichita, KS. The role involves assisting aircraft on arrival, guiding pilots, parking, and setting wheel chocks, along with towing aircraft to service areas and hangars.

Responsibilities include fueling, assisting customers with luggage and transportation, and communicating requests to customer service. You will also perform facility checks and basic vehicle maintenance, with additional duties during 3rd shift as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license at all times.
• Must meet the requirements of Airport Authority to be receive a badge and have no ramp restrictions.
• Aviation fueling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meet aircraft on arrival, guide pilots, and set wheel chocks as required.
• Tow aircraft into service areas and hangars, and move to customer hangers or requested locations.
• Fuel aircraft with appropriate type of fuel within regulations and FAA guidelines.
• Provide other services to customers as needed, including carrying/unloading luggage and arranging transportation within the city.
• Communicate customer requests for service to the customer service team.
• Inspect the facility to ensure hangar doors are closed and equipment is secured.
• Fuel vehicles as necessary and perform basic maintenance checks.
• Coordinate with other shifts to ensure smooth transition of duties.
• Handle housekeeping duties in the customer service lounge/line office areas.
• 3rd shift line technicians may perform customer service duties such as handling invoices and cash, logging work, and other requests.
• Some shifts may require fueling commercial aircraft at airport terminals.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or director.

Education
