Job summary

County of Oconee is seeking an Airport Operations Support role to ensure safe, efficient aircraft ground movement and fueling at the Oconee County Regional Airport. You will refuel, tow, park, and manage fuel and cash sales while maintaining records and coordinating with flight crews.

The job emphasizes strict safety protocols, FOD control, NOTAM placement, and customer service in a dynamic, public-facing environment. This is a part-time position with on-site work in Seneca, SC.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; preferred airport operations experience.
• Valid driver's license and ability to obtain airport credentials.
• Experience with fueling, safety procedures, and fuel quality control.
• Ability to operate MS Office for records and inventory tasks.

Responsibilities

• Refuel aircraft and receive fuel shipments with quality control.
• Tow, park, and secure aircraft; maintain radio advisory communications.
• Process fuel and miscellaneous sales; handle cash transactions.
• Maintain hangars, airfield lighting, and grounds; conduct inspections.
• Provide professional customer service to pilots, passengers, and companies.
• Perform administrative tasks and manage inventory and fuel ordering.
• Inspect safety equipment and perform routine vehicle inspections.
• Place NOTAMs and manage UNICOMM communications for inbound/outbound flights.
