Job summary

Beaufort County Council is seeking an Aviation Line Service Technician I to perform fueling, servicing, ground handling, and airfield support to ensure safe airport operations. Responsibilities include fueling, marshalling, towing and parking aircraft, and complying with aviation standards.

The role requires basic education and limited related experience, a valid driver’s license, and adherence to safety procedures while delivering professional customer service.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• 1+ month and up to 3 months of related experience.
• Must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Fuel aircraft following safety standards and operate fueling equipment.
• Marshal, park, tow, and reposition aircraft on ramps and taxiways.
• Conduct safety inspections of ramp, hangar, and airfield areas and report hazards.
