Frontier Airlines is seeking a Director of Ground Operations Safety to set long-term safety strategy across ground operations, including ramp, catering, and customer service roles. This role leads a safety team and collaborates with stakeholders to improve safety performance and emergency response readiness.

The position may be based at Denver HQ or a Frontier-serviced city with remote work arrangements; travel up to 30% is expected to support safety initiatives and investigations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of aviation or airline industry experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training/experience in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Set long-term strategy for Frontier Airlines ground operations safety through regular assessment and active mitigation of all potential operations risks.
• Lead safety teams responsible for ground operations safety, OSHA compliance, and emergency response with performance management.
• Build partnerships with stakeholders on ACS and Maintenance safety performance.
• Drive continuous improvement in Aircraft Ground Damage (AGD) metrics and analyses.
• Lead development and management of safety standards with business partners.
• Oversee safety investigations for high-severity incidents and ensure compliance with safety requirements.
