The Inland Group of Companies is hiring an Equipment Operator in Hillside, NJ (EWR). You will safely operate glycol recovery equipment, collect used fluid, and ensure environmental safety while supporting processing operations.

Responsibilities include maintenance, documentation, and collaboration with airport authorities. Requires 18+, HS diploma, and ability to work in varying weather with a strong safety mindset.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of required classroom and on-the-job training programs.
• Intermediate computer proficiency including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English and interpret safety rules and manuals.
• Strong basic math skills including rates, ratios, percentages, and measurements.
• Mechanical aptitude with ability to safely use hand tools and perform maintenance tasks.
• Basic knowledge of aircraft operations and safe operation of motor vehicles in varying weather.
• Positive attitude, teamwork, calmness under pressure, and valid driving record.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate glycol recovery and processing equipment per procedures and safety standards.
• Collect spent aircraft de-icing fluid, minimizing product loss and environmental risk.
• Monitor and maintain glycol processing systems for optimal performance.
• Perform sampling, testing, documentation and reporting per SOPs and regulations.
• Execute preventive maintenance and repairs, replacing components and making modifications as directed.
• Conduct truck transfer operations and manage transfers between storage tanks.
• Support glycol recovery activities and maintain equipment, tools, and materials.
• Collaborate with airport authorities, contractors, and team members while following security procedures.
