Job summary

Menzies Aviation in Grapevine, TX is seeking a Shift Supervisor to oversee Aircraft Fuelers and fuel operations, ensuring safety, efficiency and compliance with company standards.

You will plan work based on flight schedules, supervise daily tasks, maintain records, and mentor staff while upholding equal opportunity and regulatory requirements. This role includes shifts that may include weekends and holidays, and requires physical capability to lift up to 70 lbs, with pre-employment screening.

Qualifications

• Prior Aircraft Fueling experience required.
• Prior management, supervisory or lead experience in the Aviation industry preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Possess and maintain a valid US driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and all pre-employment testing.
• Ability to read, write and speak English fluently.
• Must be able to lift 70 lbs repetitively.
• Comfortable working in all weather conditions.
• Available for variable shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Pass FBI background and obtain US Customs Seal.
• Possess FAA required identifications/seals or authorizations.
• Report deficiencies in products/materials/documents.
• Suggest improvements to safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Directs and coordinates all fueling operations to ensure efficiency and safety.
• Plan work activities based on incoming flight schedules and station stops.
• Supervise Fuelers to perform duties professionally and safely.
• Prepare and submit staffing and shift reports and equipment status reports.
• Maintain accurate accounting of fuel transactions and manpower requirements.
• Mentor other employees and resolve grievances.
• Ensure compliance with attendance, safety, and company policies.
