Job summary

Menzies Aviation in Dallas, TX is seeking a Shift Supervisor to oversee Aircraft Fuelers in fueling operations. You will supervise, coordinate and mentor staff, ensuring safety, accuracy and timely service in a fast-paced aviation environment.

Key duties include planning flight activity, reporting, managing manpower, and ensuring compliance with safety and security policies. Candidates should have prior fueling or aviation supervision, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift 70 lbs.

Qualifications

• Prior Aircraft Fueling experience required.
• Prior management, supervisory or lead experience in the Aviation industry preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Possess and maintain a valid US driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and all pre-employment testing.
• Ability to read, write and speak English fluently.
• Must be comfortable lifting 70lbs repetitively.
• Able to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Pass FBI background and obtain US Customs Seal.
• Possess FAA required identification/seals or authorizations.
• Must have high school diploma, GED or six months experience as a Lead Fueler.

Responsibilities

• Reviews data on incoming flights to plan work activities.
• Directs and coordinates fueling/defueling services and equipment.
• Supervise Fuelers to meet safety and efficiency standards.
• Prepare and submit staffing, shift and delay reports.
• Maintain accurate accounting and fuel transactions.
• Report manpower requirements and maintain team harmony.
• Mentor other employees and support subordinates.
• Ensure disciplinary procedures are fair and timely.
