Job summary

HEICO Component Repair Group in Miami seeks a Fuel Technician to perform teardown, cleaning, repair, assembly and testing of aircraft fuel system components in accordance with OEM specifications and FAA requirements.

The role collaborates with Quality Control and Engineering to ensure accuracy and compliance, handling parts coordination and maintaining a safe, organized work environment.

Responsibilities

• Teardown, cleaning, inspection, and repair of fuel system components
• Interpret and follow OEM maintenance manuals
• Testing and calibration of fuel components using test benches and specialized equipment
• Document all work in accordance with FAA and company requirements
• Identify parts required for repair and coordinate with Purchasing, Stockroom, or Production Planning
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area
• Adhere to safety procedures, including handling of fuel residues and hazardous materials
