Job summary

Swissport in Los Angeles is seeking a Tower Coordinator to support fueling operations. You will coordinate with Operations Managers and airline teams to ensure fueling is performed safely, timely, and cost-efficient.

This full-time role requires excellent communication and the ability to monitor weather and air traffic advisories. You will also prepare daily reports, maintain logs, and contribute to contingency planning for optimal equipment utilization.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read/interpret safety and operational manuals.
• Ability to write clear reports and discuss details with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Maintain situational awareness of fueling operations and communicate updates to leadership.
• Coordinate with airline operations, airport operations, flight control and fueling staff.
• Assist in developing contingency plans for efficient use of equipment and resources.
• Communicate problem-solving options with managers and airline personnel.
• Monitor Flight Status Monitor, weather, and ATC advisories and adjust plans accordingly.
• Complete daily shift reports and keep records of delays and flight irregularities.
• Notify regulatory officials as required during emergencies or significant events.
• Assist with ramp and fueling operations as needed.
