Job summary

Menzies Aviation at San Diego International Airport is seeking an operator to sample and test products for quality control, inspect facilities and perform basic maintenance on fuel systems and vehicles.

You will receive and dispatch jet fuel, gasoline, diesel, av gas and glycol via pipelines and trucks, with a pay rate of $26.00 per hour. The role requires lifting up to 70 lbs, flexible shifts including weekends, and strict safety adherence.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must possess and maintain valid US driver's license.
• Must pass pre-employment testing including color vision, audio, and drug tests.
• Able to read, write and speak English.
• Able to lift and move up to 70 lbs and handle fueling equipment.
• Must be available for variable shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Must pass background check and obtain required airport badges/seals.

Responsibilities

• Sample and test products for quality control.
• Receive and dispatch jet fuel, gasoline, diesel, av gas and glycol via pipelines and fueling vehicles.
• Support maintenance and inspections of fuel systems and equipment.
• Maintain daily/weekly/monthly logs of fuel transactions and QC.
• Ensure compliance with safety, industry and regulatory standards.
• Keep fuel farm and surrounding area clean and presentable.
• Adhere to all company and airport safety policies.
