Job summary

Menzies Aviation at Tampa International Airport is seeking a Fuel Farm Operator to support sampling and testing of products for quality control, and to perform inspections and basic maintenance on fuel facilities, systems and fueling vehicles.

The role requires lifting up to 70 pounds, outdoor work in all weather, and adherence to safety policies; you will be subject to pre-employment drug testing and must obtain the required airport badges/seals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or related experience/training.
• Valid Driver's License and airport badges/seals as required.
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and work outdoors in all weather.
• Must pass pre-employment drug testing and a physical.
• Must be 18+ and able to obtain airport credentials.

Responsibilities

• Receives/dispatches jet fuel, gasoline, diesel fuel, avgas and glycol via pipelines and trucks.
• Samples and tests products for quality control and performs inspections and basic maintenance on facilities and fueling vehicles.
• Supports QC Technicians with hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical reports and preventive maintenance of equipment at fuel storage facilities/systems.
• Performs routine inspections in compliance with standards and policies.
• Transfers product and monitors storage tanks, pipelines to prevent spills and contamination.
• Adheres to safety policies and procedures at all times.
