Job summary

Menzies Aviation is seeking a Fuel Farm Mechanic at Pittsburgh International Airport (PIT) for 2nd shift (Tue–Sat, 14:00–22:00). Must possess mechanical tools and toolbox. Duties include maintenance on filters, pumps, valves, tanks and related equipment, ensuring safety and compliance.

The role requires reading blueprints and schematics, outdoor work in all weather, and a valid driver's license with FAA/airport credentials. Equal opportunity employer, travel not required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school in hydraulics, industrial electricity, and pneumatics; or five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair equipment and pipelines, electrical equipment, motors, switch gears and lighting.
• Investigate and address customer complaints regarding fuel systems maintenance.
• Diagnose problems using test equipment, historical data, specs and blueprints.
• Maintain related components such as pumps, valves, vessels, hydrant pits, gauges, switches, motors, lights, heaters, meters, hoses, hydrant vehicles.
