Job summary

Maytag Aircraft Corporation is hiring a Driver/System Operator to support NAS Whidbey Island in Oak Harbor, WA. The role requires a valid Class A CDL with Hazmat Endorsements and experience with fuel servicing operations.

Responsibilities include operating mobile fuel servicing equipment, performing defuel/refuel tasks, adhering to safety regulations, and completing required trainings and annual certifications as directed by the contractor and COR.

Qualifications

• DSOs shall be qualified to perform fuelservicing operations (refuel/defuel) with mobile fuel servicing equipment/trucks, pantograph, hose sets, and fixed direct fuel servicing systems.
• Annual or as requested re-certification of training records and competency tests will be conducted by the contractor.
• Drivers must be licensed to operate vehicles and equipment on public roads and hold a current CDL with Hazmat endorsements where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Operate fuel servicing equipment on airfield and on base per contract requirements.
• Perform refueling and defueling tasks with safety-critical procedures and equipment.
• Maintain training records and comply with government and COR requirements.
