Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Exposure to AutoCAD or Civil 3D is preferred.
• Interest in airport design and aviation infrastructure is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparing plan details and design components for airport infrastructure projects.
• Support preparation of technical specifications for project documents.
• Assist with researching design options and presenting findings to project managers or engineers.
• Review design drawings and contribute to quality control efforts.
• Prepare sections of technical memoranda and assist with project reports.
• Perform material quantity take-offs and obtain budgetary quotes for cost estimating.
• Assist in developing construction cost estimates for aviation-related projects.
• Monitor workload and assist with documentation needs.
• Perform field tests, measurements, and data collection to support aviation design and construction.
• Assist with construction inspection and on-site representation during active seasons.
• Prepare daily field reports and contribute to construction oversight tasks.
• Assist with project communication and coordination, including client interactions under supervision.
• Provide miscellaneous project support to meet deadlines and client expectations.
• Collaborate with engineers and multidisciplinary team members across aviation assignments.
