Job summary

Billings Flying Service, Inc. is seeking an engineering professional to explore repairs, alterations, and configuration changes across aircraft systems. You will model concepts, prepare 2D prints, and support certification activities within BFS’s Part 145 environment.

Ideal candidates have a solid engineering background, hands-on aviation experience, and strong problem-solving and CAD skills. The role requires collaboration across teams, attention to regulatory criteria, and a proactive approach

Qualifications

• Possess and demonstrates integrity
• Undergraduate level education or equivalent aviation experience

Responsibilities

• Assist with developing new repairs, alterations, or configuration changes across aircraft systems
• Assume responsibility for small to medium projects from start to finish
• Ensure compliance with repair criteria or published limitations
• Inspect, support and accomplish limited repair functions under BFS’s Part 145 repair station
• Develop models and 2D dimensioned prints
• Assist with analyses for repair and certification projects
• Review and develop repair procedures and certification documents
• Design, order and integrate tooling and testing equipment
• Liaison between engineering and other BFS groups
