Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • 1-2 years bench experience in electronics or related field.
  • Reads, understands and interprets maintenance manuals and schematics.
  • Able to evaluate, troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate units using official documents.
  • Knowledge of mechanical tools and measurement instruments.
  • Able to read, write and speak English.
  • Able to work with little supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Test, troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate units using schematics and manuals.
  • Inspect electronic aircraft components for defects and wear.
  • Disassemble, clean, and inspect aircraft components.
  • Repair or replace damaged components.
  • Reassemble and test electrical units for proper operation.
  • Follow CMMs, directives, and service bulletins.
  • Report to lead person, supervisor, or manager.
  • Solder and de-solder components (through-hole and surface mount).
