Job summary

Parsons is seeking an Electronics Technician III to support the FAA TSSC-5 contract nationwide, with roles across multiple FAA sites including New Jersey. The position requires hands-on installation, testing, maintenance, and documentation of electronic systems with responsibility for safety and quality on every task.

The ideal candidate brings five+ years of electronics experience, the ability to read schematics, and proficiency with standard test equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• Five plus years of working knowledge of basic analog and digital electronics.
• Experience with RF and communications equipment.
• Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Install, relocate, and remove electronic systems and equipment (NAVAIDS, communications, surveillance).
• Troubleshoot and repair to unit/board/module level with standard test equipment.
• Read schematics, wiring diagrams, and manuals; follow FAA orders and site procedures.
• Assist in field installations, site work, pre-installation checks, and testing per drawings.
• Document maintenance logs, parts used, corrective actions, and test results.
