Job summary

Indra is seeking an Electronics Assembler - UMAC in Overland Park, KS to join a fast-paced production team that builds radio and electronic components for aviation and communications systems.

You will assemble circuit boards, cables, wire harnesses, and subassemblies using engineering drawings, BOMs, and established procedures. A strong attention to detail and the ability to meet production schedules are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 18+ months hands-on electronics assembly or related manufacturing experience.
• Experience with hand tools and small electronic components.
• Ability to follow detailed work instructions and production processes.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electronic, electromechanical, and mechanical components on a fast-paced production line.
• Build circuit boards, cables, wire harnesses, modules, and other subassemblies according to drawings and BOMs.
• Cut wires to specified lengths and inspect terminals for proper crimp quality.
• Perform hand soldering and other soldering operations per workmanship standards.
• Install components on PCBs and verify correct polarity and placement.
• Maintain production documentation and adhere to manufacturing procedures.
• Meet production schedules and communicate issues to supervision.
• Identify process or documentation issues and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized work area.
